Mousetrapper FAQ's
- Will the Mousetrapper be difficult to fit to my machine?
- No, in the case of the Classic the unit uses the Microsoft Intellimouse provided and works with the standard Windows mouse driver. The Advance and Office models are electronic and connect via the computer's USB port. This means that your IT Manager should not object to you fitting the unit - you may not even need any help.
- Can I still use my mouse in the conventional way from time to time?
- Yes, with the Classic you simply take the mouse out of the Mousetrapper cradle and use it in the normal way. With the Advance and Office, simply leave your mouse connected to the computer as usual.
- How long will it take to get used to?
- This varies from person to person, but most users take about 10 - 30 minutes to acclimatise, and less than a day to be sold on the benefits!
- Can I use it with a laptop?
- Yes, simply connect the Advance and Office models to the USB port. In the case of the Classic, connect the Microsoft Intellimouse into the mouse port if available. If not, see below.
- My new computer does not have a mouse port to fit my Mousetrapper Classic into!
- Call us and we will supply you with a converter which will allow your MS Intellimouse to connect to the new USB-only computer system.
- Can I use a Mousetrapper Advance with my MAC?
- Yes. The Advance works with MAC OSv10 onwards, but you must state this on the order.
- May I try out a Mousetrapper before I buy it?
